As an experienced Family Law Attorney, Dena K. Dionne has represented individuals in all matters relating to family law, including divorce, paternity, adoption and equity matters. Dena’s varied cases have included issues regarding child custody, asset division, spousal support, child support, modification, contempt, domestic violence, abuse prevention, guardianships and various matters relating to unmarried cohabitants. Her litigation experience extends to all phases of family law litigation from motions practice to evidentiary hearings to trials.

As a divorced, single parent of two young children, Dena also has firsthand experience with the emotional challenges that families in crises face. In addition to enhancing her practice and advocacy skills, her personal experience has given Dena the ability to develop real, creative solutions to even the most difficult family law issue.

In addition to serving as her clients’ advocate, Dena has been appointed by the Probate & Family Court as a Guardian Ad Litem and Discovery Master on various domestic relations cases. She has also served as a faculty member and chair on numerous MCLE family law programs. Prior to joining Legasey & Niarchos, PC (formerly Legasey & Associates, PC) in 2002, Dena served as a judicial law clerk to the justices of the Probate & Family Court in the Essex and Worcester Divisions.
