Founded in 2008, Legasey & Niarchos, PC, represents the merger of two longtime, well-established family law practices: Legasey & Associates, PC and The Law Firm of Celeste R. Niarchos. This partnering united six experienced family law lawyers: John S. Legasey, Celeste R. Niarchos, Dena K. Dionne, Meredith W. White, Amy T. Sollins and Lisa Stern Taylor, each of whom is committed to our firm’s singular goal: providing superior legal services to each client in the highest ethical manner.

Prior to the formation of Legasey & Niarchos, PC, founding partners John S. Legasey and Celeste R. Niarchos each had a thriving family law practice. John, formerly the managing partner of the Danvers law firm of Ardiff & Morse, had established the Salem firm of DiGangi & Legasey, PC in 1998. In 2001, when John’s partner, The Honorable Peter C. DiGangi, was appointed to the bench, John formed Legasey & Associates, PC. In 1984 Celeste became a partner at Whipple & King, PC, a general practice firm in Salem. In 2001, Whipple & King, PC dissolved after the death of founding partner, John Whipple, at which point Celeste established her own firm, The Law Offices of Celeste R. Niarchos. In 2008, when John and Celeste resolved to combine these two law firms, Legasey & Niarchos, PC was born.
