Celeste Niarchos is an experienced Family Law Attorney concentrating her practice in all aspects of family law, including divorce, paternity, custody, and equity matters. She has devoted her career to helping individuals solve their personal problems during difficult life changes. Celeste is an experienced litigator, having tried hundreds of contested cases in the Probate and Family Court.

In 1975, Celeste became a member of the Massachusetts bar. In 1984, she became a partner at Whipple & King, PC, a general practice firm in Salem. After the death of her partner, John Whipple, in 2001, Whipple & King, PC dissolved, at which point Celeste established her own private practice, The Law Offices of Celeste R. Niarchos.

Celeste devoted her early career to ending the cycle of domestic violence. Celeste was a founder and past president of Help for Abused Women and their Children (HAWC) in Salem. She was a founder and past president of the North Shore Women Lawyers Association. She is a long-time member of the Board of Directors of Children’s Law Center of Massachusetts, a non-profit organization serving the legal and advocacy needs of income eligible youth. She is a member of the Essex Bar Association and serves on its Board of Directors. Celeste has also been appointed by the Essex Probate Court to serve as a Guardian ad Litem, Discovery Master, Parenting Coordinator and Conciliator. In addition, she has also served as a faculty member on numerous Continuing Legal Education programs.

In addition to her demanding professional life and tireless community/volunteer work, Celeste has been married for 34 years and she is a parent to two adult children.
